Tish Ince is a Trinidadian / Irish writer and poet, originally from London. She has a background in working with women, counselling, community work, theatre, and performance. She won an award as a Marginalised Writer for South West England. (Paper Nations and Bath Spa University), has been internationally published across the UK, the US and Romania at Literomania, and in 2022, Tish Ince had been nominated for a Pushcart Prize ‘Best of The Small Presses’ by Brownstone Poets NY, for her grief/war poem, ‘I Polish Shoes.’
She is currently working on her return books – ‘Coming Home’ – which is a healing and spiritual journey after her return to the UK from San Francisco. ‘The San Francisco Story’ and ‘Coming Home’ are under the publishing presses now, however in a differing order with ‘Coming Home’ first.
Haikus For Series – She has developed the Haikus For Series and Ai generated art for her new collection of Haiku poetry and AI art. The Haikus for Series begins with Haikus For Heartache – (published 2023) – at Tish Ince Arts
She Writes Series – Is a support for women writers and poets – She Writes Poetry – A Poetry Journal for Women (published 2023) is the first.
Using a variation on themes from her Method Writing Workshops and ‘The 21 Day Writing Programme – Write a Book’, Tish Ince provides a way to continue your poetry journey in this ‘grab it and write it’ poetry journal for women. It has been made because ‘She Writes’ is a call to women poets to keep on writing and reading their works.
Tish Ince has refrained for now, from performance poetry in a public announcement across her social media platforms in late 2023.
